Welcome! You may have noticed that some mysterious new Gyroscope tour dates made their way onto the Gyro web pages this week. They are a surprise from us to you, and we're stoked to announce that they are a part of the CHOOSE YOUR OWN ADVENTURE TOUR. Not only is the the Gyros ONLY headline tour for 2011, it's a pretty wild concept. Dare to read further and all will be revealed...

Come October and November Gyroscope will pack their back catalogue into the van and embark on an exciting and unpredictable adventure. An adventure where fans (you) dictate the next step, choosing the tour setlist via public vote. No limits, no boundaries, no holds barred. Got a killer old Gyro song you have been dying to hear for years? Here is your chance, this is the time.

The voting process will be conducted via Facebook. So to get involved make sure you ‘like’ www.facebook.com/gyroscopemusic and we'll update you on when the great song selection is to begin. Plenty of time to re-learn the words to songs and maybe even get into any Gyroscope records you don't already know from back to front.

Ever since the Big Day Out and Groovin' the Moo tours wound up the Gyroscope lads have been having a bit of a break. But now they are suffering itchy fingers and restless voices, eager to once again present their fierce live show for welcoming crowd. Careering through Western Australia for the first four shows in late October, followed by a short east coast headline stint in November. The band have even managed to squeeze in some rare licensed all ages shows in Sydney and Adelaide.

So get voting, suggest songs, show your friends and enjoy the shows. The CHOOSE YOUR OWN ADVENTURE TOUR is about Gyroscope, but most importantly it is about all of you wonderful fans. Tickets are on sale Thursday August 25th. Think quick and move fast to secure your tickets for this once in a lifetime Gyroscope tour.
