Well folks, it has certainly been a long time coming - but we now have such fresh and exciting news for you we're sure you'll agree it was worth the wait

We are pleased to bring you the very first single SOME OF THE PLACES I KNOW single from Gyroscope's forthcoming and newly christened album COHESION. Recorded last year in the picturesque Rockfield studios (read: Field of Rock) in Wales, Cohesion of a true indication of everything the four Gyro's feel makes the band special. Prepare yourselves for equal parts intensity, emotion, melody, passion and aggression. Cohesion is truly a thing to behold. It will undergo it's grand unveiling and be released into stores on FRIDAY APRIL 9th.

SOME OF THE PLACES I KNOW is an epic swath of epic melody delievered with the familiar driving passion of Gyroscope . The loping hook was penned in the sweltering slow-motion of a WA heatwave, it packs some classic Gyroscope rock sounds accompanied by a wide-open and carefree vibe. We have a stunning video to show you all next week, keep your eyes our and we swear you will not be disappointed.

And yes, what would single and album be without a tour to celebrate? The Gyro's will be happily packing their punch and hitting the road this March to bring you what is destined to be one hot, sweaty and very rocking national tour - the SOME OF THE PLACES I KNOW TOUR.

The SOME OF THE PLACES I KNOW tour will be raging through capital cities this March, and joining Gyroscope will be Melbourne powerhouse punk rock quartet A Death in the Family. Having toured with the likes of Rise Against, Against Me! & The Gaslight Anthem, they have touted their live show throughout Australia, Europe & the US. Their power packed show is sure to be a great compliment to the passionate driving force that is Gyroscope live.

Now, because we are so fond of all you nice people out there we're bringing you a bit of a tour taster treat in the form of a fan pre-sale. All you need to do is sign up to the Gyroscope mailing list in the box at the top right of this page by Monday February 1st.

The fan pre-sale will commence on Thursday February 4th, giving you a chance to get your hot little hands on Gyroscope tickets before anybody else. All you need be brandishing is the secret pre-sale code we'll email to you on Tuesday February 2nd via the Gyroscope mailing list.

And because we know you are keen on all things Gyro out there, we have another trick up our sleeves. With all ticket purchases made via Oztix, Moshtix or Ticketek you'll have the opportunity to take advantage of a digital download album pre-order. This offer is made super sweet by the fact that you will be receiving the full Cohesion album in advance of the general public.
